Jack Back

Jack Back is the house and techno alias of Pierre David Guetta, the French DJ and producer who launched this project in 2018. The name first appeared as a collaboration with Nicky Romero on a remix of Flo Rida's track, later evolving into Guetta's dedicated underground outlet. Guetta operates Jack Back Records as the project's primary label platform, marking a departure from his mainstream EDM releases under his own name.

The Jack Back catalog spans house, tech house, afro house, dub techno and techno across 18 releases since 2018. Major label partnerships include Defected Records and its DFTD imprint, alongside Toolroom, establishing credibility within underground house circles. The project focuses on club-ready productions with driving basslines and stripped-back arrangements, contrasting sharply with Guetta's pop-oriented material. Recent releases demonstrate an evolution toward darker techno territories while maintaining the groove-centered foundation that defines the Jack Back sound for dancefloor applications.
