Jack Priest operates from Bristol as a solo electronic music producer who began releasing music in 2013. Green Velvet mentored him during summer 2012, with his debut EP receiving support from BBC Radio 1. He later joined Brooklyn's Crew Love collective, shifting from his initial tougher techno sound toward more progressive electronic music.
Jack Priest produces indie dance, deep house, house, and nu disco across a decade-long career spanning 2013 to 2023. His releases appear on Wolf & Lamb Records and True Romance Records, two labels known for their house and disco output. His sound evolved from the harder techno of his early Green Velvet-influenced period into warmer, more melodic territory that encompasses both peak-time house energy and deeper, groove-focused tracks suitable for extended DJ sets.
