James Grant

James Grant is a British electronic music producer and DJ who serves as A&R for Anjunadeep, the deeper subsidiary of Anjunabeats. He is the brother of Jono Grant, co-founder of Anjunabeats, and began releasing music in 2015. Grant has become a central figure in the Anjunadeep mix compilation series, initially collaborating with Jaytech on episodes 02 through 04, then partnering with Jody Wisternoff from episode 05 onward, with the duo mixing entire compilations together since episode 06. He also curates his own Movement mix series, recorded live at outdoor locations.

Grant's sound spans house, deep house, progressive house, and melodic house & techno, with his 17 releases appearing exclusively on Anjunadeep and Anjunabeats. His productions typically feature the deeper, more atmospheric qualities associated with Anjunadeep's aesthetic, focusing on progressive builds and melodic elements rather than peak-time energy. His role as A&R has positioned him as a tastemaker within the progressive house scene, identifying and developing artists that fit the label's signature sound.
