Jamie Jones

Jamie Jones is a Welsh DJ and producer born James Jones in Caernarfon, Wales in 1980, now based in London. He co-founded Hot Creations in 2010, the same year he began releasing music on the label. Jones has also released under the alias J-Mode and won two DJ Awards during his career. Hot Creations serves as his primary creative outlet and has become a significant platform in the underground house scene.

Jones produces tech house, deep house, and minimal deep tech, releasing 66 tracks since 2010 across labels including his own Hot Creations, plus Helix Records, Defected, Hottrax, and Subliminal. His sound centers on groove-heavy tech house with deep, rolling basslines and crisp percussion programming. The Hot Creations catalog showcases his preference for stripped-back arrangements that prioritize dancefloor functionality over excessive layering.
