Janein is the project of Jan Götze, a producer and DJ from Leipzig, Germany. He co-founded the JaNein label, which serves as the primary outlet for his releases. Since beginning his recording career in January 2024, Janein has released 10 tracks across five different labels, establishing himself as a prolific artist in the German techno scene.
Janein produces raw, deep, and hypnotic techno alongside peak time driving tracks, spanning from classic Detroit-influenced electro to hard techno. His releases appear on JaNein, Fiedeltwo, Fides, Warg Records, and Adroit, showcasing a sound that moves between contemplative deep cuts and floor-filling peak time material.
