JazzyFunk

JazzyFunk started in 2010 as a duo formed by Italian producers Macs Cortella and Filippo Perbellini, with Cortella handling DJ and production duties while Perbellini contributed vocals and musicianship. The project is now led solely by Macs Cortella, who continues operating under the JazzyFunk moniker. The artist began releasing music through Electrobuzz in March 2014 and has maintained consistent output with six releases cataloged through January 2026.

JazzyFunk produces deep house, nu disco, indie dance, and house music, releasing on Trax Records, Motive Records, and Island Moods. The sound blends deep house grooves with disco-influenced elements and indie dance sensibilities, creating tracks suitable for both peak-time sets and more relaxed dance floor moments. The music maintains the warmth and melodic sophistication typical of nu disco while incorporating the rhythmic foundation of contemporary house production, making it versatile for DJs working across multiple electronic music contexts.
