Jean Vayat is Ukrainian electronic music producer Ivan Babenko, who relocated from Kyiv to Los Angeles and began releasing music in 2019. He co-founded The Book Of Genesis music label and has maintained a steady output of five releases through 2025.
His sound spans organic house and downtempo to melodic house and techno, with occasional forays into classic Detroit electro. Vayat releases on labels including Sol Selectas, Wildfang Music, and Go Deeva Records, crafting music that ranges from deeper, more contemplative downtempo tracks to higher-energy melodic house productions. His releases demonstrate a consistent approach to organic textures within electronic frameworks, making his catalog suitable for both peak-time and after-hours DJ sets.
