Jeremy Sylvester

Jeremy Charles Sylvester is a UK garage and house producer from Birmingham who began releasing music in 2014. He operates under several aliases including Groove Connektion, Strickly Dubz, and J & S, and serves as founder and managing director of both Madhouse Records and Time Is Now Records. Before establishing himself in mid-tempo dance music, Sylvester produced jungle and drum & bass tracks in the early 1990s.

Sylvester's productions span UK garage, bassline, deep house, tech house, and melodic house & techno, with releases appearing on his own Madhouse Records and Time Is Now Records imprints. His sound ranges from the syncopated rhythms and sub-bass weight of UK garage to the four-four grooves of house music, maintaining the percussive emphasis and melodic sensibilities that define Birmingham's electronic music output. As both a solo artist and frequent collaborator, Sylvester has built an extensive catalog of original productions and remixes that demonstrate his versatility across multiple electronic music genres.
