JEWELS

JEWELS is the electronic music project of Spencer Gilbert, an artist from Philadelphia who began releasing music in April 2024. Gilbert operates under the JEWELS moniker, focusing exclusively on electronic production after transitioning from other musical endeavors. The project has maintained consistent output with six releases spanning from 2024 into 2025.

JEWELS produces melodic house and techno, organic house, downtempo, and Afro house compositions that range across multiple energy levels and tempos. The tracks emphasize melodic elements within house frameworks, incorporating organic textures and Afro-influenced rhythms that suit both dancefloor and listening contexts. Gilbert's approach blends the driving elements of techno with the groove-oriented foundations of house music, creating productions that work for peak-time DJ sets as well as more intimate venue programming.
