Jex Opolis

Jex Opolis is the project of Canadian musician and producer Jered Phillip, who began releasing electronic music in 2018. Based between Canada and New York, Phillip operates under several aliases including Jered Stuffco and Pierced Brosnan. He runs the Good Timin' label, which serves as the primary outlet for his releases alongside appearances on Amsterdam's respected Dekmantel imprint.

His sound spans house, progressive house, and peak-time driving techno, with excursions into raw hypnotic trance and electronica. The Good Timin' releases typically feature deeper, more contemplative house grooves, while his Dekmantel material tends toward the driving end of the spectrum. Phillip's productions range from mid-tempo progressive builds around 120-125 BPM to harder-hitting techno that pushes toward 130 BPM. His tracks often feature extended arrangements and hypnotic repetition, making them suitable for both peak-time sets and deeper album listening contexts.
