JKS is the moniker of French producer and DJ Valentin De Sieter, who operates from Berlin, Germany. He co-founded the record label Molekül in 2016 alongside Khoegma, AIROD, and Mayeul, before launching his own imprint Smile Sessions in 2020. De Sieter was part of the live act project Jawbreakers with Mayeul from 2018 to 2022, and has maintained a steady release schedule with 15 releases since his first appeared in October 2021.
JKS delivers raw and hypnotic techno alongside peak-time driving variants, spanning both deep underground cuts and festival-ready electronic music. His releases appear across Smile Sessions, Molekül, Involve Records, BCCO, and Agora Records, establishing him within Berlin's techno circuit. The productions range from introspective deep techno to high-energy peak-time tracks, with his sound encompassing both the meditative qualities of hypnotic techno and the urgent momentum required for dance floor impact. His catalog demonstrates versatility within techno's spectrum while maintaining focus on the genre's core driving elements.
