Jo

Jo Millett originates from Ipswich and began producing electronic music in 1993 after initially working as a dancer with hardcore group SL2. She transitioned from performing to music production, launching her recording career with releases starting in 2014 on the Electrobuzz catalog.

Jo's sound spans Afro House, Tech House, and Electronica/Downtempo across five releases between 2014 and 2021. She has released music on Mobilee Records, MoBlack Records, and Abracadabra Music, labels known for their deeper house and Afro-influenced electronic music. Her productions blend the rhythmic elements of Afro House with the driving energy of Tech House, while also exploring slower, more atmospheric downtempo territories that showcase her range as a producer.
