Jody 6

Jody 6, born Jody Lock, is an Australian DJ and producer who began his career as a producer before transitioning into DJing. He secured his first release on Kevin Energy's Dynamix label before being signed to Fevah US. In 2001, Lock relocated to Japan where he became a resident DJ at the club "Code." He also produces under the aliases DJ Subbo and Jody Lock, and has released 24 tracks since making his comeback in March 2022.

His current output spans peak time driving techno, Afro house, deep house, and funky house across multiple labels including Autektone Records, Reload Black Label, Respekt Recordings, Codex Recordings, and Fe Chrome. The music ranges from deep, groove-oriented house tracks to harder-edged techno designed for peak time dancefloor moments. His Afro house productions incorporate percussion-heavy rhythms while his techno releases focus on driving basslines and relentless energy suitable for main room club environments.
