Jody Wisternoff

Jody Wisternoff is a Bristol-born electronic music producer and DJ whose real name is Joseph Andrew Wisternoff. Born in 1973, he forms half of the duo Way Out West alongside Nick Warren and serves as A&R at Anjunadeep. During the early 1990s, Wisternoff held a three-year residency at Bristol's Lakota Club and performed at major rave events including Universe. He has also released music under the alias Slander.

Wisternoff's sound spans deep house, progressive house, and melodic house & techno, with releases primarily appearing on Anjunadeep, Armada Electronic Elements, and Anjunabeats since 2012. His productions favor warm, melodic progressions typical of the deeper end of house music, maintaining the emotional depth characteristic of progressive house while incorporating contemporary deep house elements. With 31 releases tracked through 2026, Wisternoff consistently delivers music suited for both peak-time club sets and deeper, more introspective moments on the dancefloor.
