Johan RM

Johan RM operates as the electronic music project of Rory Mhor Nicoll, who has been recording since 1991 and previously performed DJ sets under the alias RMN. Nicoll has also recorded under the names RMN and Mhor or Less throughout his career. In 2002, he collaborated with 1980s vocalist Sabrina on the single "Take the Blame," which he co-wrote with Johan Lund.

Johan RM's sound spans tech house, house, afro house, and deep house, with releases appearing on TROPICA RECORDS since June 2025. The project delivers tracks suitable for festival settings while maintaining the groove-focused elements characteristic of house music's various subgenres. His most recent release appeared in February 2026, showing consistent output across the electronic music spectrum from the deeper, more introspective side of house to the energy-driven tech house format.
