Johann Arty

Johann Arty is a Russian electronic music producer from Engels who operates under the alias ARTY, with his real name being Artem Stolyarov. Born in 1989, he has been releasing music since 2022 under the Johann Arty moniker, marking a shift from his established ARTY project which focused on trance and EDM. He also produces under the Alpha 9 alias and has collaborated with major artists including Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Paul van Dyk, and Mat Zo throughout his career.

Johann Arty's recent output centers on raw, deep, and hypnotic techno alongside peak time driving variations of the genre. His five releases between February 2022 and May 2023 have appeared on Alleanza and Airsound Records, showcasing a darker, more underground direction compared to his mainstream trance work as ARTY. The Johann Arty project represents a clear departure into harder techno territories, delivering the kind of driving, hypnotic material suited for late-night warehouse floors and industrial club environments.
