Johnny Aemkel

Johnny Aemkel is a tech-house and minimal producer from Verona, Italy, born September 5th, 1987. He began his musical journey at age 7 by collecting vinyl and CDs focused on techno history, and started learning to DJ at age 9 under the guidance of his older brother. Aemkel also performs under the alias Johnny Dj and made his first release on Electrobuzz in October 2010.

His productions span minimal/deep tech and peak-time driving techno, released exclusively through the Divided label between 2010 and 2016. Aemkel's sound combines the precision of minimal techno with the energy of driving peak-time tracks, delivering six releases that showcase his evolution from deep tech foundations toward more aggressive dancefloor-focused material. His catalog represents a focused approach to modern techno production, with tracks designed for both intimate club settings and larger festival environments.
