Johnny Dangerous

Born in Philadelphia, raised in Newark New Jersey, USA.

Singer, Remixer and R&B or Deep House producer. Started playing trumpet in Grammar School, then played in Newark Arts High School Jazz Band and Barringer High School Jazz Band. He was a Drum Major in the Blue Bear Marching Band. Johnny began his career in Newark as a resident DJ at the Carlton Hotel's "Club America" from 1988-1990, alongside DJs such as Naeem Johnson, David Camacho, Kerri Chandler or Carlton Rosebure & other. His most memorable compositions were released on Nu Groove Records as Foremost Poets, BPM King Street Sounds, Nite Grooves & Junior London among other labels.
