Johnny Dangerous

Johnny Dangerous is the stage name of Noble John Ali, a house producer from Philadelphia who was raised in Newark, New Jersey. Ali began his music career as a resident DJ at Club America in Newark's Carlton Hotel from 1988 to 1990, performing alongside DJs including Naeem Johnson, David Camacho, Kerri Chandler, and Carlton Rosebure. He also records under the aliases Foremost Poets and John Holiday, drawing from a background that includes playing trumpet in high school jazz bands and serving as a drum major in the Blue Bear Marching Band.

Johnny Dangerous produces house music spanning deep house, melodic house & techno, indie dance, and nu disco territories. His releases appear on labels including Z Records and Rebirth, with six releases documented between September and December 2025. The music combines his R&B production background with contemporary house sensibilities, delivering both vocal-driven tracks and instrumental productions that work across different dancefloor contexts from deeper sets to more energetic peak-time moments.
