Jon Convex

Jon Convex is the alias of London-based producer Damon Kirkham, who began releasing electronic music in August 2012. Kirkham also produces under the aliases Kid Drama and Mikarma, and operates his own imprint Convex Industries, which serves as the primary outlet for his Jon Convex material.

His sound spans peak time driving techno, deep house, and nu disco, with all six of his releases appearing on Convex Industries between 2012 and 2015. The Jon Convex project leans toward higher-energy dance floor material, particularly his techno productions which maintain the driving, peak-time characteristics favored by club DJs. His deep house tracks offer a more measured approach while his nu disco work incorporates classic disco elements, giving DJs versatility across different sets and energy levels throughout a night.
