Jorge Socarras

Jorge Socarrás operates as an American electronic music producer born to Cuban parents in New York City. He studied at the NY School of Visual Arts before transferring to San Francisco, where he collaborated with musician-producer Patrick Cowley in the mid-1970s to form the post-punk duo Catholic. Socarrás also releases music under the alias Horhay and began his electronic music career in 2013 with his first release appearing in May of that year.

His sound spans electronica, minimal/deep tech, tech house, house, and deep house territories across releases on BluFin and Foom Recs labels.
