Joy Marquez

Joy Marquez is the stage name of Jorge Arturo Márquez, a DJ and producer from Mexico City, Mexico. He began releasing electronic music in 2011, with his debut appearing on September 19 of that year. Over his career, Marquez has maintained a consistent output with seven releases documented across multiple labels.

Marquez produces Afro House and Tech House, releasing music on labels including Nite Grooves, Futura Groove Records, Adesso Music, and 76 Recordings. His sound spans both the rhythmic, percussion-driven elements of Afro House and the harder-edged dynamics of Tech House. His release schedule shows sustained activity from 2011 through 2025, with his most recent output scheduled for November 2025, demonstrating over a decade of continuous production in the house music scene.
