Julio Bashmore

Julio Bashmore is the alias of Mathew Stephen Walker, a house producer and DJ from Bristol, England. Walker began releasing music under the Julio Bashmore moniker in 2009, with his first release appearing in December of that year. He also operates under the aliases Mathew Walker and Bash, maintaining an active presence in the UK electronic music scene for over a decade with his most recent release dropping in February 2024.

Bashmore produces tech house, deep house, and minimal deep tech tracks that span the house music spectrum. His releases appear on respected labels including Ten Thousand Yen, Local Action, and Classic Music Company, marking him as an artist with connections to both underground and established imprints. His sound ranges from the deeper, more introspective side of house music to the more driving tech house territory, giving DJs versatility across different parts of their sets. With seven releases tracked since 2009, Bashmore maintains a selective release schedule while consistently operating within the house music framework.
