Neil McDermott operates under the Junes moniker as a British-born electronic music producer based in Berlin. He co-founded the Galdoors label and began releasing music in 2014, accumulating nine releases over the past decade across his own imprint and other respected labels including Dote and Kalahari Oyster Cult.

Junes produces minimal deep tech and peak-time driving techno alongside house and classic electro influences. His releases on Galdoors showcase the darker, more stripped-back side of his production work, while his output on Dote and Kalahari Oyster Cult explores broader electronic territories spanning from Detroit-influenced electro to driving techno designed for peak-time dancefloor moments. His sound maintains a consistent focus on functional club tracks that work across different points in a DJ set, from deeper opening hours to more intense peak periods.
