Kaidi Tatham

British multi-instrumentalist and producer Kaidi Tatham hails from Redditch, near Birmingham, and moved to London in 1993 to study Performing Arts. Known as one of the original creators of the West London broken beat sound, Tatham operates under aliases including Agent K, Shox, and Shocker T. His classical training from a young age laid the foundation for his keyboard prowess, earning him the nickname "Herbie Hancock of the UK" from DJ Benji B.

Tatham's electronic output spans deep house, breakbeat, and UK bass, with releases appearing on respected labels including Shall Not Fade, Local Talk, Toy Tonics, and Atjazz Record Company since 2018. His tracks blend jazz-influenced musicianship with broken beat rhythms and house grooves, drawing from his extensive background as a multi-instrumentalist. The productions showcase his ability to merge organic instrumentation with electronic programming, creating tracks that work equally well in deep house sets and more experimental broken beat contexts.
