Kaitaro

Kaitaro is a Japanese DJ and producer who operates under the aliases Kai and Kaitaro Nakajima. He owns the Release Sustain label and began releasing music in 2012, accumulating six releases through 2021 across his own imprint and Lazerslut.

His productions span minimal/deep tech, tech house, and deep house territories. Kaitaro's releases on Release Sustain and Lazerslut showcase his focus on deeper, more restrained electronic music that sits comfortably within the minimal and tech house spectrum. His sound maintains consistency across the deeper end of house and techno, avoiding the harder or more aggressive sides of these genres in favor of more subtle, groove-oriented approaches.
