Kaito is the primary alias of Tokyo-based producer Hiroshi Watanabe, who began his electronic music career in 1971. Watanabe graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston and operates under several aliases including Quadra and Nite System. He has maintained a consistent output on the Infine label, with releases spanning from 2013 to 2025.
His sound encompasses deep house and tech house foundations while incorporating electronica and indie dance elements. Watanabe's productions for Infine demonstrate a refined approach to electronic composition, blending the technical precision of his formal music education with contemporary dance floor sensibilities.
