UK funk, Latin and jazz style band, formed in 1983. Originally founded in 1980 as Swamp Children, before changing their name to Kalima, named after a track by Elvin Jones.
At various times the band shared several members with A Certain Ratio. Kalima eventually broke up in 1991 but reformed in 2001.
