Kapibara is a Brazilian DJ and producer duo comprised of brothers Boyan and Jeroen Kockelkorn, who are currently based in Maastricht, Netherlands. The group formed in 2012 and began releasing music on electronic labels in 2020, with their debut appearing on Récits de Mars in April of that year.
Their sound operates primarily within melodic house and techno territories, incorporating Afro house elements that reflect their Brazilian origins. Kapibara has released music on respected labels including Sincopat, Ritter Butzke Records, Eklektisch, and Cacao Records, building a catalog that spans deep house grooves to melodic techno progressions.
