Kasey Taylor

Kasey Taylor is an Australian DJ and producer from Melbourne who operates under the real name Kasey Roy Taylor. He began releasing music in 2012 and has produced under several aliases including Ocean Wave, Katai, and Clearwater. Taylor founded his own progressive house label Vapour Recordings in 1997, followed by VapouRise in 2005 and eVapour8 Recordings in 2008. In 2014, he launched the underground deep and tech house label Lo-Fi-45 alongside Australian DJ Lister Cooray.

Taylor's sound spans progressive house, tech house, afro house, deep house, and funky house across his nine releases cataloged since 2012. He has released music on respected labels including Sudbeat Music, Visceral, Balance Music, and Meanwhile. His productions range from deeper, more contemplative progressive house tracks to driving tech house cuts with afro-influenced percussion elements. Taylor's versatility across house music's spectrum makes him equally suitable for peak-time sets and deeper, more introspective moments on the dancefloor.
