Kevin McKay

Kevin McKay is a British producer and label owner who began releasing music in 2014. He owns Glasgow Underground, a label that houses artists including Romanthony, Mateo & Matos, DJ Q, Milton Jackson, and Powder Productions. McKay also runs Breastfed Recordings and Heartbeats, the latter serving as home to Grum. From 2003 to 2005, he operated as the writer and producer half of Linus Loves, creating tracks like "Night Music" and "The Terrace" plus the album "Stage Invader." He has released under aliases including Brian Macblade, Kevin Kennedy, and Brian Warner.

McKay produces house, tech house, deep house, and peak-time driving techno across 190 releases spanning from 2014 to 2020. His music appears on Glasgow Underground, Rawsome Recordings, and Nervous Records. His output demonstrates range from the deeper, groove-focused territories of deep house to the more driving, floor-focused energy of tech house and peak-time techno. McKay's production work extends beyond his own releases, having mixed all Mylo tracks on Breastfed and co-produced half of Mylo's UK platinum-selling album.
