Khainz

Khainz is the progressive house project of Simon Schwendener, a Swiss producer from Lucerne who began releasing music in 2011. Schwendener also operates under the aliases Thujon and Freakulizer, with his Khainz moniker specifically focused on progressive house productions. He runs his own imprint Heinz Music, which serves as a platform for his releases alongside his work with other labels.

Khainz produces melodic house and techno, progressive house, tech house, and deep house, with occasional ventures into peak time driving techno. His music appears on established labels including Yoshitoshi Recordings, Spectrum from the Netherlands, 303Lovers, and WHATIPLAY. With 28 releases spanning over a decade, his sound centers on melodic progressions and house rhythms, ranging from deeper, progressive compositions to more driving techno-influenced tracks. His productions typically maintain the melodic sensibilities of progressive house while incorporating elements from adjacent electronic genres.
