Khubos

Khubos is the production alias of Karabo Makhubo, a South African electronic music producer based in Middelburg. He began releasing music in October 2023, establishing himself across multiple labels including Agua Salada Records, Sound Vessel Records, Soulful Evolution, Juiced Music, and Blur Records. Over the span of less than two years, Khubos has released five tracks, demonstrating consistent output since entering the electronic music scene.

His sound spans deep house, classic and modern electro, and nu disco territories. The deep house productions lean toward the warmer, more soulful end of the spectrum, while his electro work draws from both Detroit's foundational sounds and contemporary interpretations. His nu disco releases incorporate classic disco elements with modern production techniques. This versatility across Agua Salada Records' deeper catalog and Sound Vessel Records' more varied electronic output positions Khubos as a producer comfortable working across different tempos and moods within the house and disco spectrum.
