Kid Culture

Kid Culture is the alias of DJ and producer Daniel Hackett, based in Amsterdam. Hackett began releasing music under the Kid Culture moniker in December 2010, with his discography spanning a concentrated three-year period ending in September 2013. During this active period, he produced five releases focusing exclusively on house music and its subgenres.

His productions traverse tech house, deep house, and traditional house, delivering tracks that cater to both peak-time floor moments and deeper listening sessions. Kid Culture's sound operates within the 120-128 BPM range typical of house music, incorporating the driving rhythms of tech house alongside the more atmospheric elements of deep house. His musical approach reflects the Amsterdam electronic scene's emphasis on groove-driven productions, with tracks designed for extended DJ sets rather than radio play.
