Killawatt is the production alias of Matthew Watt, an electronic music producer from Portsmouth, UK. He began releasing music in 2015 and has maintained an active presence in the underground electronic scene through 2022, with five releases documented on Electrobuzz.
His sound spans techno and house territories, ranging from peak time driving techno to raw, deep, and hypnotic variations. Killawatt releases on the 47 label and crafts tracks that move between high-energy peak time material suitable for main room moments and deeper, more introspective techno designed for extended club journeys. His production style has remained consistently focused on the harder edges of house and techno over his seven-year recording career.
