King Brain

King Brain is the electronic music project of German producer Dietmar Andreas Maier, who has also released music under the aliases D.U. and The Brain. Maier began releasing material as King Brain in October 2013, with his debut appearing on the German label Kittball Records. Over his active period from 2013 to 2016, he maintained an exclusive relationship with Kittball, releasing seven tracks through the Düsseldorf-based imprint.

King Brain's productions span tech house, deep house, and peak time driving techno, delivering the kind of versatile output that fits multiple points in a DJ set. His releases on Kittball demonstrate a focus on dancefloor functionality, with tracks that move between the deeper, groove-oriented territories of tech house and the more driving, peak-hour energy of techno. The music maintains the polished, club-ready aesthetic that Kittball is known for, positioning King Brain's work within the label's roster of contemporary European house and techno producers.
