Kolja Gerstenberg

Kolja Gerstenberg is a German electronic music producer from Giessen who began releasing music in 2016. He studied drums at a German university, completing his degree in 2016, with his musical background rooted in funk, soul, disco, and jazz rock. His connection to electronic music runs in the family, as his father toured as drummer for trance live act Afrotrance during the early 1990s, releasing on R&S and Harthouse.

Gerstenberg produces deep house, house, and peak time driving techno, releasing across labels including Suol, Smile For A While, Monologues Records, Moment Cinetique, and Lumberjacks In Hell. His discography spans from 2016 to 2020 with six releases, demonstrating a sound that bridges groove-heavy house with more driving techno elements. His drumming background translates into rhythm-focused productions that draw from his multi-genre influences while maintaining dancefloor functionality across the house and techno spectrum.
