Kollektiv Turmstrasse

Kollektiv Turmstrasse is a German electronic music project founded in 1999 in Wismar by Nico Plagemann and Christian Hilscher. The duo took their name from the street where both artists lived together before relocating to Hamburg. Christian Hilscher departed the group in 2021, leaving Kollektiv Turmstrasse to continue as Nico Plagemann's solo project. The act began releasing music in 2009 and has issued 36 releases across various electronic music labels.

Kollektiv Turmstrasse operates primarily within techno and house music territories, producing peak time driving techno, tech house, deep house, and melodic house & techno. Their releases appear on established labels including Diynamic, Connaisseur Recordings, FFRR, Not Sorry Music, and Musik Gewinnt Freunde. The project's sound centers on driving rhythms suitable for peak-time DJ sets, with melodic elements woven through their techno and house productions. Their catalog spans from deeper house cuts to harder-edged peak time techno tracks, providing DJs with material for different moments in their sets.
