Kosh

Kosh is Youssef Benjelloun, a DJ and producer from Casablanca, Morocco, who runs the Convergence record label. He also releases music under the alias Whybe and began his recorded output in June 2021 with his first release appearing on electronic music platforms.

Kosh produces deep house, raw and hypnotic techno, Afro house, and breakbeat tracks that span multiple tempo ranges and energy levels. His releases have appeared on respected labels including Kalahari Oyster Cult, Craigie Knowes, Casa Voyager, and Syncrophone, with twelve releases catalogued through early 2026. His sound incorporates elements from electronic music's deeper spectrum, moving between the meditative qualities of deep house and the driving intensity of raw techno, while his Afro house productions draw from his Moroccan background and his breakbeat work explores UK bass influences.
