Krewcial

Krewcial is Pascal Garnier, a Belgian DJ and producer from Ghent who began his music career in 1972. He initially established himself in hip-hop, releasing albums on PIAS, BBE, and Blue Note alongside collaborator Lefto. After taking a break from producing and releasing records in 2005, he returned to electronic music production in 2016 with his first house release appearing in October of that year.

His current sound centers on sample-based boom bap house, drawing from his hip-hop background to create groove-heavy productions across house, deep house, tech house, and funky house territories. Krewcial releases primarily on We Play House Recordings, Local Talk, and Robsoul Recordings, with additional releases appearing on labels including Lumberjacks In Hell, Midnight Riot, GAMM, and Mysterious Works. His tracks typically emphasize rhythmic complexity and sampling techniques, maintaining mid-tempo energy levels that work equally well in intimate club settings and deeper listening contexts. Since returning to active production, he has maintained consistent output with 13 releases tracked through 2025.
