Krust

Krust is Kirk George Thompson, a Bristol-based drum & bass producer who began his career in 1968. He grew up on the Knowle West council estate and established himself through releases on V Recordings, including the track 'Warhead', working alongside Roni Size and DJ Die to build the label's reputation. Thompson co-founded Full Cycle Records with Roni Size, which became a leading drum & bass imprint. He has released music under aliases including Gang Related, Cronic Crew, and Crazy Loops.

His sound spans drum & bass, house, techno, deep house, and electro, with recent releases appearing on Crosstown Rebels between 2020 and 2021. Krust's production style ranges from the driving energy of peak-time techno to the deeper territories of house music, maintaining his drum & bass foundation while exploring electronic music's broader spectrum. His seven releases on Electrobuzz demonstrate his ability to move between different tempos and moods, from the breakbeat intensity of his drum & bass roots to the four-four pulse of house and techno productions.
