Kungs

Kungs is French producer Valentin Brunel, born December 17, 1996, in Toulon and based in Aix-en-Provence. He began releasing music in 2022 on major labels Universal Music Division Island Def Jam and Columbia Local, with his catalog spanning five releases between 2022 and 2026. The project name derives from the Latvian word meaning "Sir" or "Gentleman."

His sound moves between indie dance, house, and bass house territories, incorporating melodic house and techno elements alongside dance-pop crossover tracks. Kungs draws from deep house and tropical house influences while maintaining accessibility through his major label releases. His productions demonstrate versatility across tempo ranges, from mid-tempo indie dance grooves to harder-hitting bass house tracks, positioning him within both underground dance music circles and mainstream electronic markets.
