Kuniyuki Takahashi

Kuniyuki Takahashi is a producer and sound designer from Sapporo, Japan who records under multiple aliases including Forth, Koss, and Frr Hive. He founded his own record label BSC (Bacteria Sound Commune) in 1997 and was previously a member of the group DRP (Deutsches Reichs Patent) alongside Tomoyuki Murashige. His first release appeared on Electrobuzz in May 2010, with his most recent dropping in December 2025.

Takahashi's music spans deep house and future jazz as his primary focus, though his seven releases on the platform demonstrate range across breaks, drum & bass, hard techno, and indie dance. He releases on Mule Musiq, a label known for supporting genre-crossing electronic artists. His sound encompasses both the meditative qualities of deep house and the experimental edge of future jazz, with productions that move between contemplative downtempo pieces and harder dancefloor material. This versatility allows his tracks to work in both intimate listening environments and peak-time DJ sets.
