Lake Haze

Lake Haze is the moniker of Portuguese electronic musician Gonçalo Salgado, based in Lisbon. He began releasing music in 2014, with his first release appearing on June 15 that year. Salgado also produces under the aliases Chainless and Dhakiy Madani, accumulating 19 releases across his various projects over the past decade.

Lake Haze's sound spans peak time driving techno and classic Detroit-influenced electro, with releases appearing on respected labels including Shall Not Fade, Unknown to the Unknown, creme organization, Atlantic Thunder, and E-Beamz. His productions range from raw hypnotic techno to deep house, often incorporating the driving energy characteristic of modern electro. The project maintains consistent output, with releases spanning from 2014 through 2025, demonstrating an evolution from classic electro foundations toward more contemporary techno territories while retaining the rhythmic precision of his Detroit influences.
