Last Life

Last Life is the techno project of Mauro Picciau from Sardegna, who also releases music under the aliases Maurs and Mauro Picciau. The producer began releasing electronic music in 2021 and operates his own imprint LL SERIES alongside releases on the established Samurai Music label.

Last Life produces peak time driving techno and raw deep hypnotic techno, with five releases spanning from June 2021 to November 2023. His tracks on LL SERIES and Samurai Music deliver the driving energy and hypnotic qualities that DJs seek for late-night sets, combining the relentless momentum of peak time techno with deeper, more meditative elements. The dual approach between his own label releases and Samurai Music output demonstrates his range within techno's harder-edged spectrum.
