Lex

Lex van Coeverden is a Dutch DJ, producer and mastering engineer born on June 17, 1963. He began mixing at age 15 and gained recognition during the 1980s as a DJ at pirate radio station Radio Stad Den Haag. In 1990 he founded Dance International Records, followed by the dubplate cutting service MOR in 2000. He established Get-Cut in 2005, which evolved into The Vinyl Room, his lacquer cutting and mastering studio. Lex operates under several aliases including Sample Syndicate, Disco Anthem, and PG1.

Lex produces tech house and house music, releasing tracks across labels including Armada Subjekt, New Violence Records, Roush Label, Incorrect, and SAFE Music since 2017. His production output spans from 2017 to 2023 with nine releases cataloged on electronic music platforms. His technical background in mastering and vinyl cutting informs his production approach, creating tracks that translate well across sound systems. The combination of his decades of DJ experience and studio expertise shapes his house productions for the contemporary electronic music scene.
