About
Leyo is the production alias of Leon de Raaff, an Amsterdam-based producer who began his musical career in 2004. A Red Bull Music Academy alumnus, he operates under the alias Martijn van Sonderen for certain releases and has established himself within Amsterdam's electronic music scene over two decades.
Leyo produces house music spanning deep house, afro house, tech house, and minimal deep tech territories. His releases appear on labels including Cecille, with eight documented releases between September 2024 and December 2025. His productions blend Amsterdam house influences with Detroit and Paris sounds, incorporating elements from boogie and broken beat. The music maintains the funky, eclectic characteristics associated with Amsterdam's house scene, delivering tracks that range from deeper, more contemplative pieces to higher-energy tech house cuts suitable for peak-time DJ sets.
