Light Year

Light Year is the alias of Jordan Feller, an Australian producer based near Sydney who began releasing electronic music in the late 2000s. His debut release "Night/Vision" appeared on Sydney label Bang Gang 12's, with the track "Sex Education" receiving support from Soulwax, 2manydj's, Erol Alkan, Tiga and Brodinski. Between 2013 and 2015, Light Year released six tracks across labels Convex Industries and Exploited.

Light Year's sound spans techno, tech house and deep house, with a focus on peak time driving techno that sits at higher energy levels suitable for club floors. His releases on Convex Industries and Exploited demonstrate a consistent approach to dancefloor-oriented production, maintaining the driving characteristics that defined his early work while incorporating elements from both the deeper house spectrum and harder techno territories. His output during the 2013-2015 period shows a producer working within established club music frameworks rather than experimental territories.
