Liquid

Liquid is a British electronic duo formed by Shane Heneghan (Model) and Eamon Downes (Ame), who met at the Pauls 4 Music record shop where Downes worked. The group achieved mainstream success in the 1990s with their track "Sweet Harmony," which sampled Ce Ce Rogers' vocals and piano riff, reaching number 15 in the UK charts. After releasing The Future Music E.P., Heneghan departed the project, leaving Downes to continue producing under the Liquid name as a solo act.

Liquid's sound spans electronica, peak time techno, house, breakbeat, and drum & bass, reflecting the duo's rave and progressive house origins from the 1990s UK scene. The project has released five tracks between 2020 and 2025 on XL Recordings and Tripalium Records, marking a return to electronic music production. Their contemporary output maintains the breakbeat hardcore foundations while incorporating modern techno and house elements, delivering peak time energy suitable for club environments and festival main stages.
