Liset Alea

Liset Alea is a Cuban-born artist based in Paris who operates under the real name Lissette Gonzalez Alea. Born in La Habana in 1979, she has lived across multiple cities including Costa Rica, Miami, New York, Amsterdam, and London before settling in Paris. She studied Jazz at The New School Jazz Conservatory while residing in New York City and forms part of the duo Miss Stereo. Alea began releasing electronic music in 2018, with her debut appearing on Mobilee Records.

Alea produces melodic house and techno alongside electronica and downtempo compositions, with releases spanning Deep House territories. Her music appears on established labels including Mobilee Records, Crosstown Rebels, and Feathers & Bones. The artist's sound draws from her multicultural background and jazz training, delivering tracks that range from club-focused melodic house to more introspective downtempo pieces. Her catalog includes both single releases and full album projects, with seven releases documented between 2018 and 2026 across these respected imprints.
